Research & Current Work
I completed my Ph.D. in October 2024 with a thesis titled "Securing IoT Gateways in Smart Home Environments," focusing on supporting developers in the cybersecurity of IoT systems. My doctoral work emphasized smart home security and the challenges faced by developers when building secure IoT applications.
My current research focuses primarily on automotive cybersecurity, where I contribute to the COLTRANE-V project and work on Social Media Automotive Threat Intelligence (SOCMATI). I am also involved in research on real-time embedded systems reliability, with a particular focus on FreeRTOS and fault injection techniques.
Since 2021, I have been teaching at Politecnico di Torino. I served as a teaching assistant for Web Application I from March 2021 to September 2024, and since September 2024, I have also been one of the teachers of Algorithms and Programming.
